The mission of Tyrance Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is to be the preferred provider of orthopedic care amongst our community, case managers and primary care physicians. We believe in earning the trust of our patients, not only by providing the highest quality and leading edge medical care, but also by treating each patient and their family with sincere compassion. The ultimate goal of our entire organization is to aid and support each patient as they navigate the healthcare process, which can be a very stressful period.

Your Initial Office Visit
Your initial visit with Dr. Patrick Tyrance, Jr. will consist of a comprehensive examination and evaluation of your orthopedic problem and symptoms. At this time, if necessary, you may also have X-rays depending on the nature of your problem.
Dr. Tyrance will review your medical history and discuss your injury or problem at length, gathering facts and details to help with the diagnosis, and then perform a thorough examination. He will than explain his findings and, if necessary, make recommendations for any other diagnostic testing. Once a diagnosis is established, he will discuss your treatment options and address your questions and concerns.
Once treatment begins, or following surgery, your progress will be carefully monitored by Dr. Tyrance on subsequent visits, until such time as he feels you can be discharged from his care.

Appointments
All appointments are scheduled in advance for Dr. Tyrance by calling our main office at (561) 898-0303 during regular business hours. Please call our office for additional information.
Dr. Tyrance is always accepting New patients.
Our staff will be pleased to assist you in any way possible and all efforts will be made to accommodate your schedule.
Our Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to keep an appointment or need to reschedule your current appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. If not, a cancellation fee will be charged. Please call us at (561) 898-0303 for assistance.
Prescriptions
Prescription refills must be requested weekdays only during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. Refill requests cannot be accommodated outside of regular office hours.
Emergencies
We are always able to give prompt attention to emergencies. During office hours, there is at least one doctor in the office attending to emergencies needing prompt treatment. You may call us at (561) 898-0303. Due to the unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays in the appointment schedule do occur. We hope you understand that these delays are unavoidable, and that in an emergency you would be extended the same consideration.

Insurance & Billing
As a service to you, our billing office staff will file your insurance claims when you have provided us with all the necessary information. We are providers for many commercial health plans, as well as for Workers Compensation, PIP and Auto insurances. Please understand that we cannot guarantee payment of your claim. Patients are responsible for the payment of any deductible and any co-insurance amounts at the time of service. Our office staff and billing company are always available and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. You may call us at (561) 898-0303 if you have anyway questions in regards to your health insurance.
For your convenience, payment may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa. Payment is required at the time services are rendered. In situations requiring special financial considerations, alternative payment plans may be arranged prior to your visit. Please feel free to discuss our fee schedule with our Administrator by calling our office today.
Patient Education
With the vast expansion of the Internet, there are now a large number of Web sites that offer good scientific, yet simplified, information on orthopaedic health conditions and their treatment. We will not attempt to multiply the information, but direct you to some of the best references available. Everything you read may be discussed and clarified with Dr. Tyrance either before or during your appointment.

We provided printable patient forms which are available in PDF format and can be viewed, navigated, and printed from home using the Acrobat Reader software from Adobe Systems Inc.
