Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) Therapy at Tyrance Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Unlock your body’s natural healing power with SVF therapy. TOSM offers advanced fat-derived regenerative treatments to support healing, reduce inflammation, and restore function-without surgery or synthetic drugs.

What is SVF Therapy?

SVF therapy is a form of autologous regenerative cell therapy. It involves collecting a small portion of a patient’s fat tissue and isolating the naturally occurring components within it—such as mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), growth factors, and regulatory cells—which may support orthopedic health. SVF is minimally manipulated and used for homologous purposes, in accordance with FDA regulations.

The Technology Behind the Treatment

We offer this cutting-edge procedure through our sister company, Avastar®.
The treatment is made possible thanks to the Avastar® Time Machine powered by Cell Surgical Network®, which utilizes stromal vascular fraction (SVF) technology to support healing and restoration.

How It Works: From Harvest to Healing

The process involves four key steps:

  • Harvest – A small sample of adipose tissue is collected through a mini-liposuction procedure.
  • Isolate – The tissue is processed on-site to extract SVF components.
  • Inject – The SVF solution is reintroduced into targeted areas (e.g., joints or soft tissues).
  • Support – The cells may contribute to a more favorable environment for the body’s natural healing processes.

Note: The procedure is performed on the same day and uses only your own tissue (autologous).

Conditions SVF May Be Considered For

SVF therapy is not a treatment for disease, but it may be considered as part of a comprehensive orthopedic plan for individuals with:

TOSM-Joint-pain and inflammation

Joint discomfort
(e.g., knees, shoulders, hips)

Tendon-TOSM-treatment

Soft tissue injuries
(e.g., ligaments, tendons)

Degenerative musculoskeletal conditions

Inflammatory orthopedic concerns

Why Choose SVF at Tyrance Orthopedics?

At Tyrance Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, we combine precision, innovation, and a deep understanding of musculoskeletal health. Our approach:

  • Uses minimally manipulated autologous tissue per FDA guidelines
  • Integrates regenerative therapies with evidence-based orthopedic care
  • Offers personalized treatment plans based on your specific health goals

Is SVF Therapy Right for Me?

SVF may be considered for patients seeking non-surgical options to support joint or soft tissue health. A comprehensive evaluation is required to determine if this approach fits within your care plan. SVF is not for everyone, and outcomes vary.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) is a component derived from your own fat tissue. It contains various cell types, including MSCs, growth factors, and immune-modulating cells. At Tyrance Orthopedics, we use it in a compliant, same-day procedure for orthopedic applications.

SVF naturally contains stem-like cells, including mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and adipose-derived stromal/stem cells (ADSCs). However, unlike expanded or lab-cultured “stem cell therapies,” SVF at Tyrance Orthopedics is processed on the same day, without cell expansion or genetic manipulation, and used in a way that complies with FDA guidelines for autologous, homologous use.

SVF is regulated under the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 1271, which allows for the use of minimally manipulated autologous tissue for homologous use. It is not FDA-approved as a drug or biologic for treating any disease.
Since SVF therapy uses your own tissue and is processed on the same day without culture or expansion, it reduces the risk of rejection. As with any procedure, there are risks, and all patients are thoroughly screened before proceeding.

Responses vary. Some patients may report improvements over weeks or months, while others may not experience noticeable change. We avoid making guarantees, and your progress will be monitored through follow-up visits.

Both are forms of autologous regenerative therapy. SVF is derived from fat tissue, while BMAC comes from bone marrow. Each has distinct cellular compositions and may be more appropriate for specific conditions. We’ll help determine the best option for your case.
